The energy was palpable on Saturday night at the 7th edition Dutch International Zouk Congress. There has never been so much affection, enthusiasm and pure joy in one room. Actually, five. That’s right! This congress had five packed dance floors, each with a talented DJ who had us dancing till 5 am the entire weekend. And let’s not forget the mind-blowing performances by some of the best known international Zouk dancers – Jaime Arôxa & Kiri Chapman, Renata Peçanha and Jorge, Larissa & Kadu, Lidio & Monique, Gilson & Natasha to name a few.
