Mazouka is one of the only full-time studios run and organized by a full-time zouk teacher in North America. Most teachers rent studio space. So, since the shut-down they are reaching out for our support. Below a message from studio owner, Junyan. Mazouka is located in Toronto, Canada.

We started Mazouka Dance Company back in 2010 with the dream of building a zouk paradise in Toronto for the North American community. In 2012, we realized that we needed to have a beautiful dedicated home studio if we were to make things happen for real and launched one of the first Zouk congresses in North America, ZoukEX. Many dancers that have graced our studio have now become DJs, instructors and organizers and they tell us that this studio is still a second home to them.

We are calling on everyone that has been touched by our community over these years to donate to help us keep our studio alive. We have to pay a large amount of rent each month as our studio is located in a prime location and anything that you can contribute will help us greatly.
